This cake is found in the book Baked Elements. It is a classic southern treat so it is not for those without a sweet tooth. The cake itself tastes faintly of caramel and is denser than you would think, but it is still delicious. The frosting is a mouthwatering sour cream concoction which helps to cut down the sweetness.
